Chocolate Orange Palmiers

Ingredients

  • puff pastry 14 oz
  • granulated sugar 3/4 cup
  • oranges 2 large or 3 smaller
  • dark or semisweet chocolate 4 oz

Preparation Instructions

Zest the oranges and massage the zest into the sugar. Optionally let it dry in the sun. Sprinkle sugar on a surface, place puff pastry on top, sprinkle with orange sugar, roll out, fold, and freeze. Cut into cookies, place on parchment paper, bake, flip, and bake again until golden brown. Dip in melted chocolate and sprinkle with leftover orange sugar.
